Can I have a product in more than one category?
Startershop has a useful feature called Multiple Links. This feature allows a Startershop to display your products in several different places. Multiple Links are useful for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), best sellers & new releases categories, special features (e.g. a temporary category for Mothers’ Day cards), and more.
To make a Multiple Link in Startershop:
Log into your Startershop, navigate to a product you wish to feature and select “Create Multiple Link”. You will then be presented with a list of everywhere you could feature this product. Choose your location and select “Create Link”. Easy! Once you’ve created a link it behaves much like any other item on your site, you can move or reorder it, hide it and so on. When you need to get rid of a link, simply select “Delete or Hide Link”, then “Delete”.
(If you hide an item, naturally, Startershop hides it’s multiple links and if you delete an item, Startershop deletes the multiple links without you having to lift a finger.)
